No other European city comes close to London in the sheer number of yoga lessons on offer. The most professional – and popular – of London’s yoga studios is Triyoga, which has three branches: in Primrose Hill, Covent Garden and Soho.

Every week, Triyoga offers 100 courses taught by 38 yoga instructors. Besides a broad spectrum of yoga instruction, Triyoga also offers 50 medical and psychological treatments such as acupuncture, acupressure, aroma therapy, massages and “Stop Smoking” courses. In the large studios 40 yogis can practice simultaneously; in the smaller ones, 16. The Triyoga restaurant “The Gate,” in the Primrose Hill studio is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city.
