Shiro i Shiro, Berlin

Japanese for “white castle”, shiro i shiro is a restaurant featuring the most radical Japanese dishes and an ambience all can enjoy.

A very pleasant first impression greets all guests of shiro i shiro, one influenced by the bright, open, and white appearance of the restaurants interior. The first colors one sees are those of the extremely long and bright main table, in the foreground of the dining hall. The stools resemble those from Louis XIV’s time, fine pieces of baroque art covered in white cloth. Tables are covered by bright materials and in the background of the dining hall numerous sofas, pillows and colored walls promote a very light overall atmosphere. To match the external ambience, the food is also very modern, featuring specialties from the Japanese Nouvelle cuisine.
