Cube, Stuttgart

Just as the name suggests, the Stuttgart based establishment is shaped like a huge, glazed cube, the restaurant inside has just as many sides to offer its guests.

The Cube, along with its partner Bar O.T. is housed in the foyer of the Kunstmuseum, therefore many arty visitors can be seen sitting at tables during lunch hour alongside business people from Stuttgart's city centre. In the early evening the after work crowd arrive and after dark, when the museum has closed its doors Bar O.T. expands its service area. This is when Cube also achieves its real potential and becomes truly exclusive. The owner Jörg Rauschenberger already has a few culinary accolades to his name. His motto is: "deliver a new dining experience". The kitchen is described as "Pacific Rim cuisine" which looks to very simply presented, traditional Hawaiian food, combined with south east Asian culinary conventions. European, Chinese and Japanese influenced fusion food also finds their way onto the varied menu.
