Monkey's West, Dusseldorf

Monkey’s West is a restaurant featuring creativity both in its cuisine and on its walls – a symbiotic mixture of modern and culinary art of the highest quality.

Above its entrance looms the emblem of a drinking monkey, a design created by the internationally-renowned artist Jörg Immendorff. And this is just the first impression – Once inside, all guests of Monkey’s West are confronted with gigantic photos of one of Düsseldorf’s finest artistic photographs, Thomas Struth. It doesn’t stop here – Above each table hangs a crazy lantern, beckoning all to the absurd yet pleasant atmosphere of Monkey’s West. Yet what would all this art be without a true artist in the kitchen? All guests of Monkey’s West are most appreciative of the work of star chef Sven Feldmann, who amazes the palette with both hearty German specialties and modern creative dishes as well - A truly recommendable cuisine.
