Harry Winston: it's a name that remains in the spotlight of the watch world year after year, even though the original namesake passed away in the 1970s. The company is now run by his son, and remains an innovative force famous for its unique and creative designs.
Born in 1896 in New York, Harry Winston had an obvious knack for business from a very young age. He began working with diamonds at the age of 24, and the precious stone mindset remains an important part of the company philosophy to this day. Jewelry and precious stone collections brought success and prosperity, and with them came many exceptional watch models. One of the most famous models is the "Opus" from 2001, which has since seen 10 subsequent improvements.

Closing the gap between tradition and modernity has long played a significant role in the company's work. Widespread recognition came at the latest through Marilyn Monroe who famously said in her hit "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend": "Talk to me, Harry Winston! Tell me all about it. There may come a time."
Since the death of its founder, the company has been taken over by his son, who also has an eye for exceptional watch models. Another famous creation is the "Histoire de Tourbillon" model.
