The U3 line of Hamburg's subway runs like a ring through the center of the city. But the most special aspect of this line is the way it is built: mostly above ground. This makes it an idea tourist attraction.

Hamburg’s above ground U3 subway line provides both luxury tourists and families with kids an ideal way to see the city.
The U3 stops at 26 stations. The route is mostly elevated, on embankments – only Schlump and stops between City Hall and Uhlandstraße are located in tunnels.
Take the line to the city’s early morning Fish Market or around the Alster Lake on a warm summer day.
See our slideshow above for impressions and ideas of how to use the U3 line.
