1982 Château La Lagune

The Château la Lagune is one of the most well-known vineyards in the Bordeaux district and is situated along the famous ‘Route du Vin.’ A particular favourite bottle of Alexander Kraft’s is the 1982 Château la Lagune which celebrated wine critic Robert Parker described has having a “black cherry, liquorice and earth” taste to it. Indeed, Parker regards this particular vintage as being “especially strong” and awarded it 93 points out of a maximum 100. Alexander Kraft is also very much impressed with this classic red: “As far as I’m concerned a good Bordeaux is still the only drink I will never tire of. A really fine Bordeaux can easily replace any meal…and most dinner table company!”
