Capdepera Golf, Mallorca

Capdepera Golf lies hidden on one side of the Artá mountain range on the eastern side of the island, only a few km away from Cala Ratjada. This is hands down one of the finest courses on the island.

6 lakes lurk throughout the course, posing a constant hazard to any good round. The extremely narrow fairways are enough to test any good player, and enough to frighten any beginner to his bones. The last holes are especially difficult, laid strategically in the hills of Artà, yet here one sees the astounding beauty of Capdepera, with the views of the Canyamel Valley and the sea in the not to distant background. In the face of such beauty, it is hard to believe any golfer could keep his concentration, not to mention your Sunday hack. Anyone who can shoot par amidst the sunset at Capdepera has nerves and concentration made only for the tour.

Son Vida Golf was opened in 1964 by Rainer von Monaco and is therefore the oldest course on the island.
