Whistler is one of the most well known ski resorts in Canada, perhaps in the world. Its two sublime mountain peaks offers views of which the eye could never tire. Since opening in 1989, Whistler has also amazed golfers with the Chateau Whistler Golf Club, a serious test in its own right. The extreme elevation changes of the young course make it especially difficult, requiring a serious fitness to get around its 18 holes, at least for those who choose not to take a cart. For those who take a cart, the built-in GPS monitors that track sand traps, water, and other natural hazards will be a welcome aid. And for those who wish to avoid the links altogether, “heli-skiing” is of course another exciting option – In the end, Whistler has it all.
