Since its opening in 1924, Gleneagles has been one of the finest golf resorts in Scotland.
In 2014, the King’s and Queen’s courses of Gleneagles will play host to the Ryder Cup Matches. These masterful layouts are the product of the brilliance of James Braid, designed during the chaos of WWI. Their trickiness is still present today; perhaps it even grows with the years. Apart from golf, the Gleneagles Resort offers an assortment of activities that range from leisure to serious sport. Horseback riding, tennis, pigeon shooting, off-road driving and hunting are some of the possibilities at this extremely luxurious “Leading Spa”.
