Forsyth Island is a 167-hectare granite island in southeastern Australia. It is part of Tasmania’s Passage Island Group and lies in eastern Bass Strait south of Cape Barren Island in the Furneaux Group.
The luxury 240m2 lodge is a comfortable place to stay and its terrace offers spectacular views across the island range, the mountain woodland and the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean. The lodge also provides three master bedrooms, each with private bath, which is can accommodate up to eight visitors. The high, open ceilings of the lodge offer a spacious living space and the modern facilities available here sit in contrast with the rustic charm of the surroundings, particularly the Kashmir goats and lamas grazing outside. Telephone, Internet, satellite TV and fax are all at your disposal. Another useful tip; Forsyth Island fortunately has no dangerous animal or plant life.
