This luxury camp, in the middle of nowhere on the west coast of Vancouver Island, comes across as a five star romantic hunter’s retreat. To reach the two dozen furnished tents here on the banks of the remote Bedwell River guests need to travel either by boat or seaplane. Two national parks, Stathcona and Pacific Rim, are nearby. And you’re bound to hear or see beavers singing, black bears fishing and otters playing. The Resort’s own projects include the protection and preservation of local eagles and bears.
Note: the Resort is only open between 17 May and 30 September.
