Abercrombie and Kent’s mobile camping packages offer visitors the chance to experience an Africa reminiscent of Hemingway, Blixen or Roosevelt and one which few have been privileged enough to see.
With groups of no more than twelve people, the Tented Safaris are a perfect way to escape the hustle bustle of modern life and get back to nature. A selection of different safari itineraries are on offer, each taking in a different corner of the continent. What they all have in common though is the sumptuous quality of the accommodation. The spacious, veranda-fronted tents are furnished in a blend of ethnic African and colonial European styles. Each is equipped with fully flushing ceramic toilet and shower. Two staff members for every guest ensure an attentive service. Mealtimes see the finest local specialties and Western cuisine prepared by skilled chefs and served in a large, candle-lit dining tent. Should you choose to spend the entire day on safari, the kitchen staff can provide you with a delicious picnic while your driver will find the perfect spot for a gourmet bush lunch.
