Amanpulo, Philippines

Taking a holiday in an island resort is always a special experience: the atmosphere is very relaxed, and you feel light years away from your daily routine at home.

But I have seldom felt so uplifted on arrival as at the Amanpulo Beach Villa in a beautiful, untouched archipelago in the south Philippines. I felt a little like Robinson Crusoe on the pure white, lonely sandy beaches. The interior decoration of the villa harmonizes perfectly with the surroundings. In the evenings you can have a romantic dinner for two on the beach, and in the mornings you can enjoy a swim. The excellent staff take care of you around the clock, making sure that you have absolutely everything you need.
