The Eagle’s Nest presents a completely different style from the other resorts in the list since New Zealand attracts another kind of clientele. Most of their guests are nature lovers and, indeed, the landscape around the bay close to Russell, is simply spectacular. The Eagle’s Nest is a “Super Lodge,” providing outdoor opportunities during the day, such as rafting, tennis and hiking, and a contemporary-style country house to welcome you back. It also provides various culinary delights, and individual pools for four of the five villas.
