These days former Hollywood hunk Jason Priestley is concentrating his efforts in another field: with the help of his family, Priestley runs the Terrace Beach Resort and Cabins in British Columbia, Canada. Inspired by typical West Coast fishing villages, the hotel’s wooden cabins stand on pillars and are dotted throughout the natural environment. Boardwalks lead to the main building, known as the Beachfront Cottage, where breakfast is served. This resort is especially loved by outdoors sportsmen, who make the most of its location near surfer-paradise Long Beach and kayaker-hotspots Broken Group Island and Barkley Sound. Nature-lovers also enjoy the fact that the resort is close to the Pacific Rim National Parks. Another must-see in the area is the Pacific Coast’s famed Amphitrite Point Lighthouse. From here, people can watch the coastal wildlife live and up close.
