The La Pergola restaurant in Rome’s Cavaliere Hilton Hotel offers the best cuisine in all of Rome – paradoxically from German-born Heinz Beck, probably the most important German in Rome besides the Pope.
Light Mediterranean fare, like baked lobster and saffron-mousse risotto, characterize Beck’s three Michelin-star cuisine. The exquisite food is served in a luxurious atmosphere with a view over the rooftops of Rome – Bella Italia at its finest. La Pergola is the only three-star restaurant in Rome, and its dishes are priced accordingly: a 9-course meal runs for about 195 euro.
