Whereas LA in general is known for its glamour and high paced lifestyle, the Lucques is all about nonchalance. Here you will find a brick oven, wooden furnishings, and delicacies such as lamb and lemon sorbet. Nelson enjoys relaxed evenings in Lucques, in particular the “Sunday Supper”, which features a seasonal three-course menu. The meals here all begin with butter-soaked almonds, and from that point my mouth never stops watering. Fantastic!” And when she can’t make it to Lucques in person, she cooks at home using recipes from the book: “Sunday Suppers and Lucques”.
