Restaurant Ikarus, Salzburg

The chef’s hall of fame. A restaurant where monthly, a new top chef takes over, regardless where from; Sao Paolo, New York, Shanghai or even Bergisch Gladbach. Originally, it was planned to house a collection of historic Flying Bulls planes. Now, it’s a synonym for avant-garde architecture and a unique culinary concept. Every month, its parton, Gault Millau’s “Chef of the Century” award winner, Eckart Witzigmann, and Executive Chef, Roland Tretti, invite a new top chef to take the Hanger-7 guests on a culinary world tour. These invited chefs prepare their own ingenious menus and bring their personal style of culinary indulgence.
