Onward to position No. 17 on the world’s best list and here we find the 100m craft Dilbar which was manufactured at the Bremen shipyard of Lürssen and is currently ranked two places ahead of the timelessly beautiful Lady Moura yacht which originates from the same company. Design honours for the Dilbar go once again to Tim Heywood who has delivered another of his characteristic 5-deck vessels. The craft is equipped with two diesel motors although their exact power output is still to be announced. The aura of mystery surrounding the craft also extends to its owner who is as yet unidentified although his frequent appearances cause something of a stir on-deck when his helicopter touches down on the helipad situated on the sun deck. If you’re curious to know how much you’d be expected to shell out for such a craft then a handy rule of thumb to remember is that for crafts of this kind you’d expect to pay around €1m per meter.
