The World's Best Super Yachts

Eminence from Abeking & Rasmussen

Just behind classic crafts such as the Dannebrog from 1932 or 1921’s Delphine is the Eminence from Germany’s Abeking & Rasmussen – currently occupying the 55th spot on the current best yachts list. The 78m long Eminence boasts five decks and was designed by Reymond Langton and constructed by Abeking & Rasmussen’s own in-house construction team. The Eminence is made up of a sturdy steel hull with a more lightweight aluminium superstructure. The design team were also responsible for planning the technical aspects of the vessel including installing two powerful Caterpillar diesel engines in the hull which are capable of pushing out 1,494kw and devising a cleverly thought out launching system to cast the vessel’s dinghies out to sea.
