This mega resort, located on the islands of Coloane and Taipa, is the second biggest in the world, the first of the amazing features to be built here. The Sands Corporation invested over 2.4 billion dollars to create the complex, which has an area of 51,000 m2. There are 850 tables and 3,400 slot machines, making this the worlds biggest casino. The remake of the Venetian Macao complete with St Marks Square and a Grand Canal, makes this casino all the more intersting, as the charm and beauty of Venice is to be found in the surrounding streets and canals.
