Characteristic for the brand is the determination of the company's founders, Karen Stewart and Howard Brown, to produce clothes in an environmentally friendly and humane way without compromising their commitment to design. Howard Brown himself describes the style of his collection from 100% ecologically cultivated fibers as "neoclassical with a Scandinavian and Japanese influence, mixed with a dash of punk".
