Fashion photographer Mario Testino has the best taste – as well as the ability to produce whatever he likes, in the way of photography. Which may be why celebrities beg to have him take their pictures.

He may have started off taking portfolio pictures for models in London in 1976 but these days he doesn’t have to worry too much about finding clients.
He is one of the busiest fashion photographers on the planet, his clients the likes of Vanity Fair, Vogue, GQ, Estée Lauder, Burberry and Versace. Anyone, or anything, that Peru-born, London-based photographer puts in front of his camera is immediately considered hot.
That could be why so many celebs and stars trust him.
He recently put together a book of his archival shots for the publisher, Taschen. It features some of the biggest icons of current popular culture – everyone from David Beckham to Scarlett Johansson – but they are all in an unusual state. Unadorned and unstyled, these celebrities will only bare their visual souls this way to a photographer like Testino.
