High Seas Petra
Nothing says luxury, status, and wealth the way a yacht does. Built by Heesen Shipyards in Holland, Lady Petra serves as a family getaway vessel for her owner.
Super yacht Lady Petra was premiered in April 2012 at the Monaco Yacht Show in front of 700 guests. For Heesen Yachts, the ship brings together performance and luxury on a level not often seen. The 47-meter vessel is the eighth of its category that the shipyard has completed, and boasts a maximum speed of 15.5 knots. The company has another reason to be proud though: its owner is none other than Frans Heesen, who founded Heesen Yachts in 1978. Now that Heesen has retired from the business aspect of his company and embraced his role as brand ambassador, he has time to take the ship on long voyages with his wife and children.
Industrial super yacht
The Lady Petra was developed by Omega Architects and features an interior created by Bannenberg and Rowell Design. Six cabins, including a spacious master suite on the top deck, and a VIP suite on the main deck offer accommodations for up to 12 guests. Bright, airy spaces are decorated with rich woods, marble, and high-end furniture inspired by 20th century Dutch design. A large lounge on the top deck features an adjustable sunroof that offers guests a breathtaking panorama view of the ocean.
Lady Petra: luxury family cruiser
Because the Heesens wanted a family yacht, the design takes into account the requirements of all ages. A panorama Jacuzzi forms the centerpiece of the top deck, and the main deck features a spectacular home theatre. The media room boasts a 65-in screen and cream-colored lounge sofas. And if the owner needs a break from rambunctious teenagers and toddlers, the luxurious owner’s suites on the top deck provide the perfect location (isolated from the other cabins) to take some time and space in peace and quiet. The warm earth-toned calm-oasis features a terrace and luxurious large windows that provide one of the best things that the sea has to offer: the view.
