Ernest Borel anniversary collection

14. March 2012, from Redaktion

Swiss watchmaker Ernest Borel can trace its beginnings back to 1856. The Le Noirmont-based manufacturer has won a following with an international audience, primarily located outside of Europe. In honor of their 155th anniversary, Ernest Borel introduces the new Royal Collection.

Royal Collection 155th Anniversary Skeleton

The anniversary-edition Borel chronograph facinates with its specially-designed aesthetic. Its interior workings are on display for the observer, set off by the rhodium-plated filigree skeleton architecture. Louis XIV style decor is an Ernest Borel specialty, and the 40.5 mm case glistens in stainless steel or rose gold with its anti-glare sapphire glass bottom. The golden hands stretch over a dial encrusted with 11 diamond indices.

Robust ETA mechanism

The Royal Collection 155th anniversary skeleton features a robust ETA mechanism with 21 jewels and a case that’s waterproof up to 30 meters. It's finished with an alligator leather armband featuring a stainless steel or rose gold clasp.

Limited edition anniversary model

The stainless steel version will be limited to 550 examples; the rose gold model to 1000. Collectors on the search for exclusive new time pieces will find the Royal Collection 155th Anniversary Skeleton an excellent addition to their collections.
