Gisbert Brunner has dealt with wrist watches, grandfather clocks and many other time pieces since 1964. During the “Quartz watch crisis” in the seventies her affection for timepieces rose even more considerably. Her original passion transformed into an occupation in the eighties, as she began writing articles specific to watches and clocks. Since then, she has written over 10 books on the topic.
